WORLD’S MOST EXPENSIVE GOLD COIN COMES TO DUBLIN

THE world’s most expensive gold coin ever to come to auction goes on display at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Tuesday 6th March 12:00pm - 8:00pm and Wednesday 7th March 10:00am - 4:00pm.

This will be the first time that a 1933 Double Eagle has been exhibited in Dublin. The exhibition is the second leg of a landmark European tour that takes in seven countries and arranged by the Samlerhuset Group, parent company of The Dublin Mint Office, in conjunction with the National Museum of American History, part of the US Smithsonian Institution.

The exhibition will be open to the public at The Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Tuesday 6th March 12:00pm – 8:00pm and Wednesday 7th March 10:00am – 4:00pm. Admission is free.
